Default ER Dog

I was just watching Untold Stories of the ER on tv and they had the
story of a dog who was at the hospital as a guard dog. Unfortunately,
when faced with a big guy crazed on drugs, the dog ran and hid. So
much for that plan. However, before they could figure out anything
else to do with the dog, a little boy came in who wouldn't let anyone
near his injured head to stitch it. When the dog came over, the boy
immediately calmed down and started petting the dog and they were able
to stitch him up just fine. They ended the segment by saying that the
dog is now a full-time therapy dog in their ER. Too bad for security
but YAY for the patients!

Awww, that's a sweet story. I think a therapy dog in an ER is a great idea!

Aw. Just for posting that story, I will give you a 30-min reprieve from
my Ladder of Hate. After that, back on the rung and no nonsense.
