Hey folks,
Can someone recommend a good flea collar that won't make me gag being in the same room with it? Thanks. eddie |

Thanks. eddie If a flea collar makes YOU gag, can you imagine what it does to the dogs who have to wear one? Forget a flea collar. If you need a flea product, Frontline or Advantage or such, is a much better option. I don't use any flea products on my dogs. Well fed, clean and kept cool most of the time, they don't have flea problems. -- Janet B www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bestfr...bedience/album |

We had two indoor only cats in Florida, and they got fleas every so often. This was over 10 years ago... `don't remember if Advantage or Frontline was available back then, but we never, never, ever used flea collars. We boarded the cats for a weekend and did flea bombs. At least it's not a problem anymore for the indoor kitties now that we're in upstate NY. Some beings are more attractive to biting bugs than others. I'm one of them unfortunately - anyone not wanting mosquito bites merely has to hang out with me - I'm a magnet! Of course we have fleas in MD. My dogs don't have any, nor do my cats. hating living in cold weather at least SOME of them die over the winter, but I've seen tics and mosquitos in January here in the mid-atlantic. They get hardier every year - maybe they wear teeny down coats. -- Janet B www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bestfr...bedience/album |
