Incontinence after sugery
My four year old Papillon underwent surgery yesterday to remove a large
bladder stone. He has been urinating on his bedding, a lot. Does anyone know if this is typical right after surgery, or if I should be concerned. Thanks for any insight. *Munchkin* |

She is out of town, at a conference. Unless there is an emergency, I cannot contact her right now. I am just wondering if anyone else has a dog that has had this type of surgery, and what the expectations are afterward. *Munchkin* Janet B www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bestfr...bedience/album |

There are some underpads that you should be able to pick up at a pharmacy that you can put between the dog and the bedding. The pads are used in nursing homes. Beth |

It takes some time for the muscles to control it again. I'm sure he will be
okay once healed, although it may take some time. Could be months, fwiw, if a lot of dissection was done. B~ |
