Default FIXED----- how much time do you devote to a DOG per day?

I am always concerned if I am spending enough time with my dog or focused on
my dog. He is an only dog and I have no kids (I live with my parents). I
am currently not working so I am home most of the day. I dedicate at least
1-2 hours a day where I devote that to my dog, 100% focus and attention on
him (its usually three to six 20 minute sessions of play), though sometimes
it can be more like 4-6 hours if I don't go anywhere that day and none of my
nephews are here to get babysat. I also spend a lot of time with him
relaxing by my side when I am watching tv or on the computer. Those times,
I am talking to him, petting him, giving him treats for tricks and good
bvehavior. There are also times when I am playing with him and kinda
watching tv separate from him 1-2 hours I talked about above. When I go
somewhere that he can go, I take him so he is with me then too. He sleeps
on my bed with me and when I am eating, he gets some if its something he can
have and he remembers to behave and not bark for it. Still, I worry that I
could be focusing more attention on him. There are times, like now, when I
am at the computer, checking email, chatting with friends, reading posts on
the newsgroup where he is either playing by himself, sleeping or chewing on
his rawhide bone. That's when I tend to worry. So, the question
is......does this all sound like he is getting enough attention? Is the 1-2
hours enough or should I dedicate more time to him when I do nothing else?
Also, I should mention that he is spoiled with attention by my three
visiting nephews (they come here several times a week), my parents and
pretty much anyone who walks through the door. Thanks for all the input!
