Default skin problems

I have an Olde English bulldogge that is having skin problems. I have
taken her to the vet and they put her on an antibiotic and
antihistimine. It clears up when she is taking the meds but comes back
full force as soon as she stops. I also have a Boston Terrier that is
suffering with it too, but he has never had it before. We just moved to
a new house and I think it is something in the yard. Does anyone know
of any type of plant I should be looking for that could be the source?
Thanks
Marsha Schott

This year has been a strange year i have seen many dogs that have flared up with allergys because so many types of grasses have grown this year. I would firstly treat them with Stronghold or Frontline.
Allergies are more common than we think you can go down th track of getting them tested with would require bloods but this can become very expensive.
Does this only happen during the Spring/Summer months?
Has it occured before?
Good Luck

My Boston is three years old and he has never had this before. The
english bulldogge is new. We have only had her about three months and
she has had it for the past two months. The boston had it for awhile
but cleared up with meds from the vet. The vet did a skin scraping and
said it was an allergy to something, they just don't know what. I have
all the same stuff in the new house that we had in the old house, so I
assume it is something in the yard. I just can't figure out what it is.
I have taken out some bushes and I am laying mulch to cover the "weeds"
around the fence. It almost looks like poison Ivy. It is all under her
belly, on her feet, and on her lips. It is oozzy and pussy and has a
real bad oder. I have been rubbing her down with neosporin and it seems
to help, but I was just curious if anyone had this experience and knew
of a particular plant that is known to cause this in dogs.
