Default Peke diet?

We have a 10-year-old female Peke and love her beyond words!! We want to
feed her the best food available to ensure she stays healthy for many more
years.

Her food consists of home cooked chicken mixed in with dry Purina ONE and a
tablespoon or so of hot water to warm it up.

Is there any better dry food on the market please? If so, please send me
info and where to purchase it. BTW, she is allergic to beef, so we stick
with chicken.

If she's doing well on Purina ONE, why change? That said, in my
opinion, ONE is probably the best supermarket brand, but there
are many better kibbles available in pet supply stores. My
preference runs to the foods made by Naturapet, especially
California Natural - but then, I have very specific reasons for
staying with it.
