i'm boiling and cleaning chicken bones, and harriet is thoroughly
convinced that i'm perpetrating an act of cruelty upon her. "THERE'S
MEAT IN THE HOOOOOOUSE!!!" she keeps telling me. i think her brane
might be melting.

the meat'll be chopped up and frozen for treats, so she *will* be
getting it eventually, but in the meantime, she swears the suspense is
killing her.

Tallulah requests the recipe for said bones.

If it is a secret recipe, she said you could just get her a couple of
chickens and she'll figure out the rest.

True enough. Lazy reading. Apologies ....
Our dogs have grabbed their fair share of KFC leftovers from parks and
gutters. Sigh.

the bones are for me. the meat--which the dog will get in the
form of treats--is a happy by-product.

Heh...I cooked a crockpot chicken this week for enchildas.

The dogs all gathered 'round, ever-hopeful. I usually put the trashcan at
my feet, near the counter so I can toss in small bones & skin/fat/unwanteds.
The Boys know "Trash Can is NO!" Dharma learned quick, Coda helped me.
He's the Hall-monitor around here.
