.........I'm so sorry Terri. I always wondered how Luke did after the move,
what was it a couple of years ago now? He's such a handsome boy.

Yes, we got here in October of 2003 and I firmly believe part of
his extended quality of health these past two years was due to the
warmer climate.

I may be the only person in the world who
has shared a cross country move and a catastrophic hurricane with their
dog in the space of a two year time frame.

............Hurricanes aside (and I live in FL and had 3 of them in 2004) I'm
glad Luke took to the warmer climate. You'll just have to bark at Allan
Greenspan yourself in his memory.

For me, loved ones I've lost in my life

We went out to lunch today and my kids got to go boxes for their
french fries. I started crying a little because we started taking
french fries home even though none of the humans in our household will
touch cold soggy fries because Diva loved them. She would sit so
nicely with that intense look on her face. When you'd throw one,
she'd catch it in her mouth and snarf it down in no time, all the
while maintaining her sit to prove she deserved every last fry. The
kids would argue over who got to throw a few fries for her and how
often since I didn't want her to have too many fries at a time. It's
the little things for me, not anything that amazes, but, yeah,
associative memories. I hope you can soon get to where the tears only
flow every once in a while, too. I'll throw a french fry out toward
Louisiana for Luke. If he doesn't like them, maybe he'll take it up
to Diva.
