Hi group,

Last year I was working with someone on a business for pet videos.
These videos would be along the lines of memorials and similar to the
"wedding video". It would be like adding your pet, no matter the breed
or type, to your video library. Can I get some feedback from you guys
about a market for this type of business and has anyone else ever heard
of a company that offers this type of service?

Su 1) I never buy stuff that's marketed on Usenet, and
2) technology has advanced to the point where making a DVD
is a pretty trivial undertaking - someone who's already got
video footage can do it themselves without much effort.

Thanks Melinda...pretty much the feedback I'm getting all over. The
prices we came up to charge for this type of service were astronomical
and would have included travel for the videographer, editing and
musical score royalties. Ended up being in the thousands for some
packages. Not a product attractive to the general public.

Still...if anyone else out there has additional feedback, would love to
hear it!

Thanks!

The problems we have run into with this particular product are artist
royalties. They can cost a small fortune.
