I forgot how much Cali loves snow. I guess being reminded is the one good
thing about all this snow. Otherwise, I'd rather not have it.

anyone else have some new pictures (snow or non-snow)?

what about Lexi? Haven't seen him in a looooooong time.

I've come to love snow because of Khan. Predictably enough, he's in heaven,
and has dug a little den for himself right by the front door. I've put up a
few new pictures he http://photobucket.com/albums/y65/spanaval/Dogs/

This is Rudy's first real snow (the 2" in December doesn't really
count, and he wasn't with me when that fell). He has plowed through
every inch (14" deep) of my backyard and is having a blast. He and
Franklin have both been covered in snowballs, although his puppy coat
isn't collecting quite as many. Lucy, between not frolicking like the
boys, and her short coat, comes in clean as a whistle.

I need to get the camera out, strap some boots on, and take some pics!

We got about a foot. Because of the drifting though, it was really deep in
some points, and not at all in others. Predictably enough, the piles were
highest near the house. Probably because someone knew that we'd have to
shovel it all.

great pictures,

Thanks! What I'd really like to see are some pics of my brother's Boston in
the snow. They got over 2' of snow, and he was saying that his bigger dog
was having trouble keeping his head above the snow banks.

Great pictures -- Zoe concurs with Khan's opinion of the snow and gets
nicknamed "Snowzie" for the duration. She really looks very chowish when
she's out there.

True confession: when I first saw the thumbnails, I thought "cool bat
pictures" before realizing it was your brother's BT!

Poor Shazzy! She's doing her best 'Fierce Jungle Predator' imitation and
got called a bat in return. Good thing she has a VERY healthy ego.

Well, duh!!

Get to it. I'll return the favour when we get snow (probably
later this week - it's going from +14C to -14C from yesterday to
tomorrow).

Please explain to me why Molly the GSD with all the fur that gets all
over the house hates the heat but also whines about cold. And it's
California, for heaven's sake so cold is not even that cold!!! My
theory is that she is turning into a princess dog who will demand that
the thermostat be programmed to her preference. Also, she hates rain
but loves mud. Good thing I have tile all over the kitchen for when
they come in after a good wrestle!
