docking my rotti's tail, yes or no, she is 6mo's old

Obviously he's not hugely observant if he married a Jew in the first place, but as to the question of whether or not he's a tee totaller, well, a *very* happy Pesach to you. Similarly, we've got a bunch of Arabs and Iranians working for our company (and Hindus and Buddhists and .... - this is what globalization looks like), and the only co-worker I've seen opt not to have a glass of something at dinner or socializing after meetings has been a guy in my group who's Christian and belongs to a somewhat unusual foundational sect. -- Melinda Shore - Software longa, hardware brevis - Prouder than ever to be a member of the reality-based community. |

Hey, I wonder if our neighbors might know your 1st cousin-in-law. The family is Muslim and the parents are from Sir Lanka and I know they have relatives in the Toronto area. The kids, Fadill & Serena are in elementary school with Soren. Almost every morning we all wait at the same bus stop for the kid's school bus and then their dad & I ride in on the TCAT bus to Cornell. The dad, Ameen, is one of the nicest guys around. Anyway, they might know each other but OTOH it might be like when I mention that I grew up in Iowa and someone says they knew someone in Iowa, give me their Iowan relative's name and then act a little surprised that I don't know them. Yes Iowans tend to be a friendly lot but it's a big state and I just didn't get around to meeting everyone in my 24 years there.
