Default Advice for a new puppy owner - biting...

I recently got a miniature long-hair dachshund. He's a little over two
months old and, for the most part, a great little puppy. He's probably
the most laid-back and friendly dog I've ever had in all my thirty
years. The only problem is he's teething and, sometimes, when he gets
riled up, he takes the whole biting thing way beyond playfulness.

Now we've tried the usual "No!" route, much to no avail. We've also
tried to get him to transfer this aggression onto toys during these
moods... and he eventually redirects his attention to us (usually our
feet, lol). We've noticed there are sprays one could buy to stop their
dogs from biting, but we're not sure if it'll work with our pup.

Got any suggestions?
