Default Bichon Frise weight range

What is the weight range for a Bichon. My Molly is 26-7 lbs and looks
big compared to pictures of Bichons I've seen. I ask the vet who said
she is in good health and he said weight varies with the breed. Are
all Bichons very emotional dogs. Molly just goes berserk when I come
back from a long absence and does the same when we have visitors.
