Forget selling, go the rescue route:

Or take him back to the breeder, If he's as well bred as you suggest, the
breeder will probably buy him back

Honestly, you're not going to be able to recoup any significant
portion of your costs by selling him - unless it's to a friend
of yours who realises the value of your pet and the training
you've put into him. Barring this, choice one is returning him
to the breeder, as diddy suggested, but I wouldn't expect the
breeder to purchase him back. You never know unless you try,
though.

If you truly care that he goes to a good home and if you don't
have the ability or contacts to make sure that he does (and do
the follow-ups), I encourage you to seek the services of a
breed-specific rescue organisation. Be honest with them and
don't expect any money from them. In fact, the opposite is
often the case. That you'll include a crate and other stuff is
good.

It may be that the OP is following the oft repeated advice of not giving
away a pet but charging something with the idea that people will value more
what they had to pay for.

Maybe, which is why I emphasised the friend-breeder-rescue
route. Somewhere along the line the OP will hopefully get some
good advice at a personal level.

I thought about that too, but also thought $500 is a bit high for
that! Here's his local rescue contact:

I have a young Samoyed boy and want to sell him at $500 including cage and
all pet stuffs I have.

I bought this Samoyed last year and he is 11-month-old now.

He has a pure champion blood line with very wonderful shape. Also he is
playful and like people so much.

He finished all shots and has no dew-claw.

I'm not a breeder. I'm an MBA student.

Originally, I had a plan to bring him to my country after my graduation.

However now I want to send him because I think it would be better to leave
him here in states.

I have lived in medium-size apartment in my country where picky
neighborhoods sometimes donĄŻt allow bringing up so playful big dogs.

If you have any question, do not hesitate to contact me.

Yong
