Default Advice please!

My 9 year old poodle was poorly this morning. He is salivating and seemed
shaky. I took him to the vet this afternoon.
They are worried and gave him a total anestetic. They think that he may
have swallowed something.
I am scared and worried out of my mind. They said they will keep him
overnight and may need to operate.
They are taking xrays to see what the problem is. Does anyone have any
experiences with these operations?
If he did swallow something I think I know exactly when he may have done
so. Probably 15 hours or so before I rushed him to the vet. He sneaked
behind the house and may have grabbed something from the garbage.

I pray he'll get through it ok.

Thank God my sweet boy is going to be ok.
The RSPCA hospital just called and said they don't need to operate.
They just gave him steroids.
I'm collecting my treasure tomorrow at 12!

Glad he is ok.
Do you know what was wrong with him?
