Seizure? Sleepwalking?
Okay, I PROMISE this is not a troll post. Here goes.
I have a 7-year-old lab/pitt mix. Occasionally he, well, air-humps. He will suddenly develop a chubby and just start humping the air, walking around a bit slowly while he does so. He is not doing it to a person, another dog or an object. This happens most frequently when I rouse him from a sound sleep for his last potty break of the night, like tonight. He seemed to be in sort of a fog or fugue state, not responding to my requests to "go potty." Then he started his routine. I'm concerned about seizures because we recently lost a Sheltie who had them, and with her, they always hit when she was asleep. I hope I'm just being paranoid. Anyone else ever seen this very bizarre behavior? Thanks, Tracey |
