Dog Whisperer Week on National Geographic
Diddy,
I am so sorry about Danny and your loss of him. He must have been a special dog the way you describe him. May I ask what kind of dog he was and how old he was when you lost him? Diddy, I have mellowed with my old dogs of course...They sleep with me but were never allowed on the furniture, now when I see Lady in my chair I don't say a word. I am not talking performance I am just talking basic control. They have the run of the house, big fat comfy beds to lay on when they are not in mine....I just can't have em running out the door when I open it....Sometimes when I look at my Lab's gray muzzle he looks so old and then we go swimming and he kicks ass. Sometimes my Lady girl is slow coming up the steps and then hours later she is chasing a squirrel. I wish I was aging as gracefully as they are.....Judy Be Free, Judy |
