Default Major Zipper Wootness!

The Zipster just got his first Major! So that means that since his show
career started (which would be, um, last weekend) he's gotten 4 points
and 1 of his majors. He's stepped into the ring 3 times, and has come
out with the points twice.

It's majors for 3 more days in Kansas City and I'm going up for the day
tomorrow to watch. I'm going to make a day of it, it's been a long time
since I've gone to a breed show just to sit and watch dogs.

I knew he was a very nice boy, and he's proving to be a VERY nice boy!
Even if he doesn't do another thing all weekend, I can't complain!

Way to go! That is great. I hope the rest of the weekend is as good.
Have fun tomorrow.

Woo woo That's wonderful for a little squirt who is almost not little
enough.

And sounds like he has a great temperament to go along with it.

Friday Zipper won a 4 point major! So that's 8 points and both majors,
in less than a week. As for Saturday/Sunday, I have no clue. I'm
assuming since I didn't hear from them that he didn't do anything, but
I'll pick him up sometime tonight. There's a small, not likely,
possibility that they misplaced my phone number.

It was really fun getting to watch Friday. He adores both Eddie and Pam.
He showed really well, and is a great self-stacker--he just finds
something to look at and stares. The judge didn't actually want to give
it to him--he's close to the top of the standard and she likes small
dogs. There was a dog there without as good structure but he had very
high hackney and was smaller. She wanted to award it to him. After the
last round Zipper threw a stack and just stood there, and the other dog
fidgeted and fidgeted and fidgeted. I bet Zipper held his stack for a
good minute, Pam just standing there and letting him show himself off,
with the other handler getting frantic trying to get his dog to settle.
The judge finally jabbed a finger at Zip. Hey, I'll take it any way I
can get it!
