Default Yorktese Puppy Success

I want to thank everyone for the advice and encouragement I received
regarding housebreaking my pup. I decided to go the old fashioned way and
started bringing him outside and he has not had an accident in the house
for 2 days. I know that accidents will still occurbut this is a giant leap.
I 2 have morequestions. He ofcourse has not had any formal training should I
try at home or bring him to puppy school. He is 4 months old.. The last is
concerning grooming and his ears. When he went to the vet last week it was
discovered that he had an ear infection and was put on drops. I am taking
him next Friday for his first grooming and vet suggested he get his ears
plucked . What is your opinion?

I have poodles and they get their ears plucked frequently. They don't
mind it at all but that's because I did it for short periods of time at
first. That way, they don't squirm and learn to sit still. Of course, give
lots of praise and treats (or your choice of reward) so they will see the
ear cleaning as a good thing.
