poisonous plant
I have a ten-year-old Weimaraner who recently ate a large aglaonema (Silver Queen) plant. I was unable to identify the plant initially, and the vet has been treating her as if she ate a dieffenbuchia. Her liver and glucose levels are extremely high. Does anyone know if this is a result of the aglaonema ingestion? (I'm still waiting for a call from the vet this morning since I gave the new information.)

They can tell you if that's possible and what to do about it. Here is the information I found online for it: http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer...eseevergree n http://www.plantsciences.ucdavis.edu...nt/Tox-SCI.htm Hope your dog comes through okay. Suja |
