I bought a standard poodle girl 4 months ago. She was dark red, I like
it very much. Now she is 6 months old, and I found the red color faded.
I don't know if there are good ways to sustain the color. Some people
recommend certain diet or supplement. I'm not sure if it will work.

Tara,

IMO Diet and supplements will not prevent red from fading. Fading
is typical with reds, and I doubt breeder can tell you anything.

I hope the red poodle you purchased came from a respected breeder who
health tested the dam and sire, and test results are on file with
the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).
