Default dogs eating flies and insects

hi everyone,
my dog loves to catch flies and eat them, also if he see's insects crawling
on the ground he'll instantly eat them. Am i being over concerned or can
there be problems from this type of activity? if so, how can i stop him
eating flies, theyre everywhere!

Perhaps you wouldn't have a fly problem if you didn't let your dog
relieve himself on your floors?

I was being serious. If you leave urine and feces lying around--as
you've said elsewhere you do--it will attract flies. But I'm glad
you've got a sense of humor about it. I certainly wouldn't.

your a troll i think, it may attract flies, but these flies are outside.
i always clean up the dogs **** and ****. for your information it doesent
**** on carpet or anything like that, but in a designated part of the
floor which is plastic lino stuff. it really is no problem for us, and
would be more hygenic that the dog going outside in the wet grass and
dirt to **** and **** then coming back inside with all that dirt.

You said they are "from outside." That implies they are no longer
outside, but are now *inside*.

i always clean up the dogs **** and ****.

I seem to recall that it's your wife who does the cleaning up.

Yes, it would.

You don't own a broom or vacuum? I can't help but think that a
little dirt and grass would be more hygienic than feces and urine.
Not that there would be much dirt or grass left after wiping my and
my dog's feet. Mileage *will* vary, I suppose.

Okay, pig, we all know you're a troll. Nobody in their right mind
prefers that their dog eliminate in their kitchen rather than outside
and actually believes it's more hygienic. So, fine, you're a troll,
now go away.
