She's particolor? The only Parti's I've seen have been B&W.

These days I'd be interested in a dog whose batteries can be
drained, but I guess that's another story.

She is *incredibly* cute. Also, that's not a Poodle, it's a Curly
Coated Rottweiler!

Sadie is a Phantom, brown on black. Her entire undercoat is brown. And she
came from a long line of show dogs. I got her at the vet as she was brought
in to be destroyed because she was the wrong color.I begged, cried and
pleaded to the breeder to give her to me instead of culling her.I agreed to
spay as early as would be prudent.
Although AKC recognizes The odd ball color, it is not allowed to be shown
..And I've noted that there are people who are selling phantom puppies for
over 3,000. But I understand most Show breeders will place these pups
rather then destroy them. And I'm now I'm told I will get her papers. We will
be able to do AKC things just not conformation.
She is a most wonderful puppy, and yes, she is laying on a dinner plate, but
now she is up to a platter. she's growing so fast

The cooler weather is just part of it. Now that we're back
to regular training they're past the part where getting back
into shape is tiring and they're starting to feel pretty
darned energetic. Which, given where they started (not
mentioning any names [Eclipse]) is a bit much.

I don't exactly feel your pain, but I do understand. A certain dog has been
rather loud and opinionated about just how mean I am to keep him inside when
the weather is just so lovely outside. And, an hour at the dog park is
clearly not sufficient; it just doesn't give him enough time to run everyone
else into the ground.

All this from a not so young dog. The dog park Huskies are going beserko
nuts, and certainly acting like they've never had much brains to begin with.

Phantom. They aren't a recognized color, but neither is Parti - hint:
tan markings vs. spots. Sandy in OK
