to get a better insight into the recent history of the
APBT and the role the HSUS has played vilifying
the breed, laying the foundation for breed scares,
breed bans, and demand for the breed among
habitual lawbreakers.

At the time she wrote, the reason for the HSUS's
actions was not apparent. It is now.
