Default Jack Boston mix ... who's who?

Hello,

We recently purchased a Jack Russell - Boston Terrier mix; he's 4
months old now.

He looks, upper body, like a JRT mostly, but has those short stubby BT
legs. I make the assumption that this means he's more JRT than BT ???

When I read up on the JRT breed I see lots of distinctive personality
and training techniques specific to the JRT.

My question ... should I consider him a JRT and apply specific JRT
training strategies? Or just go with a more generic "dog" approach?

See my next post for question two.

Thanks for reading and appreciate any comments suggestions.
Cheers,
Eric

According to your description, he's 50% JRT and 50% BT.

For example, if your father was a Klingon, and your mother was a
Ferengi, you'd be 50% Klingon and 50% Ferengi, right?

IMO, you should consider him a dog *first,* and a *terrier* second.

And then fougedaboudit.
