Well, this is a perfectly terrible picture of Neo, but it's the best I
can do now. I'll take some that actually show her body (type & size for
the guessing game). Plus, this picture makes her nose look big! But
she's pretty darned well mixed. She's about 45 lbs. and she's fairly
short.

Awwwww! Neo is adorable.

Thanks! We think she's pretty darned cute.

We have more pictures at http://tinyurl.com/y7aw6g - there are more
pictures going backwwards from there in that album.

There is endless fun to be had with the guessing game for Neo!

She's a very pretty girl, as is Bella. It's funny, but they're
simultaneously similar and different in appearance.

(For some reason, your original post didn't show up on my end.)

She looks a LOT like my Dakota. They have different muzzles, as Dakota has a
longer, more Collie-esque snout, but from the eyes up they are very similar.
Dakota is half Collie, half ?? Possibly Border Collie or Aussie.
Here's a couple pix of Dakota for comparison:

So what's the theory on her heritage? I'd say probably some Collie for sure.

I thought that Neo looked familiar. My first thought was
Elliott, but nope.

I can sleep tonight - thanks, Christy!

I could really see what you meant in this image.

She does look like a shrunken collie in the pictures, but I hadn't really
"seen" it in real life. Her coat is soft and bushy, her tail is bushy...
she's one hairy little girl.

Dakota is pretty hairy, but not fluffy - he carries a ton of undercoat but
his coat is silky and lies close so he doesn't seem quite as hairy. I can
get a full sized dog out of him with the undercoat rake, though!!
The other guessers who mentioned Sheltie may be right - that would give her
the similar look but the shorter snout. The coloring is interesting - does
she have any white at all on her?
I'm wondering if there's some Chow in there. In the body pic, she's stockier
and that tail is very fluffy.
At any rate, Dakota's "official breed" is a Flansberger. She must be one,
too.

Christy
