Default Proin drug interactions

It seems like Proin is used more commonly than I would have thought. I
wanted to alert those of you who give it to your dogs to the following drug
interactions:

An increased risk of hypertension can also occur if phenylpropanolamine is
given in conjunction with tricyclic antidepressants (such as
amitriptyline), NSAIDS (such as aspirin), or amitraz (active ingredient of
the Preventic tick control collar).

The amitraz tick collar warning was a surprise, and of course my vet never
mentioned squat.
