Default Dog shows aversive response squished tick

Hi,
I was wondering if any of you dog (or cat) owners out there have ever
allowed your dog (or cat) to smell a tick after you've removed it and
squished it. Do they show any kind of response?

I met someone today who's dogs do not like the smell of a squished
tick. I wondered how common this is.
