I am giving him water with a bottle & he is eating wet food mixed with
dry food but his stomach is upset & has very loose stools. What should
I be doing to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated? Or is there a dog
food that is best for his breed. I think he is too young to be away
from his mom. What do you think?

Yes, he's definitely too young. Can he be returned to the breeder
until he is old enough? In any event, he needs to see a vet ASAP,
because things can go from bad to deadly very quickly with baby puppies.

Your puppy needs a vet: not Internet speculation. Knowing that the
breeder allowed the puppy to get into the consumer's hands at such a
young age, tells me that the breeder is inept, cruel, stupid, and the
list goes on. It also tells me that your purchase is apt to have a life
filled with health problems; as you see, they've already begun.

There's not much point in taking shots at you, but I do wish you had
done more homework before accepting a six-week-old puppy. :-(
