Default Adopting a Dog

Our little dog died recently and we are looking for a small dog to adopt.
We'd like a shih-tzu or shih-tzu mix.
Other small dogs would be considered, too.
Thank you very much,
P.V.

patricia,

This is the right place to post. You can help speed fulfilling your desires
by including where you live, e.g.. Cincinnati or North Carolina, and a bit
about your domestic situation, e.g. Married with three adult aged children
and 4 grandkids plus a cat and a bunny in a two room apartment.

A little insight goes a long way. Most rescue folks are just a bit picky
about placing their charges into a situation that will be good for the dog
for the rest of its life.

Try petfinder.com shih-tzu dog listings and akc.org for shih-tzu rescue.

good luck, and bless you for looking for a rescue.
