Default Harriet's Hmas

Harriet and I just got back from the Land of Grey and Flat (AKA
Muncie), where we spent Hmas with my mom and my Eeevil Little
Brothers. Harriet spent her time schmoozing, napping, and taking
her turn at neighborhood watch duty.

With middle ELB (Miss Brown is not spoiled. Much.)

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something
completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete
fools.

Great pix! I like the one with the ELB best, as I don't imagine Miss
Brown getting picked up very often.

I also liked the "watching" one where she turns to look at you -- she
looks rather disdainful "and what do you think YOU'RE looking at??"

And I can see that her ears were compelling for one (I assume)
ELB.

Yep. That's Andrew. He likes to hoist her up and carry her
around, like she's some sort of pocket dog.

Purple is a good color for Miss Brown.

It is! Purple is the split complement of orange.

Not a lot, but more than one might think. She *is* a lap dog,
after all. ELB is a sucker for Harriet, so even though he's really
tall, and not a girl, she love-love-loves him.

She does disdainful well, doesn't she? She took her job as
Supervisor very seriously, and didn't like that I kept interrupting
her. I think she was mostly irritated that there is a new Great
Dane across the street. She (S'more, the Dane) was out in her
yard, and Miss Brown was Not Amused.

There is *always* room for one more blanket. I think that was taken
after my youngest brother's GF had piled a bunch of blankets on
Harriet. They (ELB and GF) were much entertained by Harriet's nesty
blanket love. Apparently, ELB's GF--who grew up on a farm with
working collies of some variety--had never met a dog who would
tolerate being covered up.
