newsgroups/forums? Thanx..........

Try groups that are breed specific for your breed. Go to the national
breed club website and most have an online forum of some sort. Or
just google you breed name and "discussion" and you'll probably have a
lot of stuff to wade through. If you are truly involved with your
breed, showing, etc, you must belong to a breed club?

Default breeding?

Hi,
can anybody point me towards a newsgroup where responsible dog breeders can
exchange information? I've searched and haven't found anything. I'v just
passed the exam to become a registered breeder here in Australia, my girl
has titles, I've done a tonne of research, and I have a breeder with 16
years experience to mentor me, but I still want to know more before I
proceed...just to hear from people who've been there and done that, rather
than reading from dry academic texts. Is there anyone here who breeds (and
is willing to admit it???) It seems like every place I visit has a
welfare-oriented focus, which is great, but obviously anyone who hints at
breeding is crucified! I've done a lot of cat rescue over the years, so I
totally understand the overpopulations problems, but I also think there is
room for responsible breeding of purebred pups. Can anyone help with
newsgroups/forums? Thanx..........
