Default Food hunting

Hope has been doing something lately that's driving me INSANE.
She keeps looking for food wherever we go. I know she's getting enough dog
food according to her weight and size, not to mention dog treats, but it
seems like she'll go out of her way to get at food. Including trying to
eat dirty diapers she pulled out of the garbage... that was a mess I never
want to repeat.
We had one incident of her taking food out of the baby's hand, but the
food was taken out of her mouth, she was scolded sternly and ignored for a
while. (Namely until I got control of my temper and didn't want to rip my
own hair out...)

Is there any way to deter this?

Anytime there is a change in behavior, have your vet check her out.
Insatiable appetite can indicate several diseases.
If everything checks out ok, than increase the bulk fiber in her diet

Thank you!
It looks like she's just going through another big growth spurt. I guess I
should be prepared for a few more of these...
