breeder warning...

"A crank with a grudge" does what the OP did: gives a warning, but no
explanation, no substantiation, no URL, no contact information beyond
the city/state.

"Someone with a legitimate gripe" provides convincing details, evidence,
reasons for their gripe, etc.

It works for me.

Correct. My mom's neighbors have had GDs for eons. Most have been
Harls, but the last one was blue. She died several years ago, and
they've been dogless since. It made me a little sad, because
there's *always* been at least one Dane at their house.

When I was there for Hmas, I was outside with Harriet one morning,
and there was a great, deep barking from across the street. Yay!
They've got a new blue girl! And a gregarious sassypants, too,
which is cool.

These are really nice dogs--culls from a show breeder. Their
temperaments are just beautiful. I did a lot of house-and-dog
sitting for them, when I was in high school and college, and fell
in love with their dogs.
