Im looking at adopting a dog that the current owner thinks is spade is
there any way to tell for sure with out a vet ??? I looked for tell
tale incissiions/scars and found none they say shes 9-10 months
old .When would she go into heat if she did ,Sorry only had male dogs

The term for female sterilization is "spayed," and a call to her
previous vet is all that is necessary. If she was spayed it will be
in her records. If she wasn't, she certainly could have gone into
heat by now.
