Default Foxtails

Whenever I see foxtails, I'm reminded of diddy's ordeal with
Danny and a foxtail awn. That was when I found out about the
dangers of the things.

Itchmo has an article on foxtails, worth reading now that foxtail
season is upon us.

I've been scouring my yard and ripping them out, but the bloody
things are all over the place near the local walking trails and
sidewalks.

I'll second that emotion.

The foxtail has seriously injured or killed more than a few hunting
and field-trial dogs.

IMO, the owner of a dog that spends any amount of time out in the
field should have this book in his library:
