Obedience Training a Dog
Giving your dog proper obedience training is an important aspect of
dog ownership. There are plenty of good reasons to properly train your dog. First off, it allows you to enjoy your dog that much more. It's a great feeling to be able to walk around town and not worry about having your dog bark at random dogs or strangers. It's nice to know your dog didn't tear your house up while you were gone. Secondly, it's good for your DOG! Yes, that's right, your dog is much happier when he is being properly trained. A properly trained dog is one that understands their owner is their leader. That makes the dog a little more care free. Dogs with obedience problems don't know who is in charge, so sometimes they consider themselves the leader! That puts extra stress on them. There are plenty of other reasons to obedience train your dog. I recently started a site on the subject if anyone is interested. I encourage you to check it out. I plan on adding more content as I have time. http://www.squidoo.com/how-to-obedience-train-a-dog/ Thanks! |
