Default Chew Problem

Hi Everyone!!!
I hope all of you had a wonderful 4th of July! I have a puppy Mac. he
is 2 years old. I did tryied to train him at home however I failed.
One of the biggest problem is chewing and detroying. He destroys his
toys in less than 24 hours. What I should do with him? Marina

Have you tried only offering him his toys when supervised and not
allowing him to tear them up?

Have you tried crate training him to limit his damage when not supervised
and offering a time out, when you are weary of watching him or CAN'T
watch him?

Since you failed training him at home, may I suggest enrolling him in an
obedience program? This is not the dog's failure. You did appropriately
accredit the failure to yourself. However, don't beat yourself up because
you failed. Obedience schools TEACH you how to teach your dog.
There is hope.

When leaving your dog unattended, give him DURABLE toys, such as Frozen
Kongs stuffed with Peanut butter. It will keep him entertained.

Tired dogs are good dogs. Please see he gets more than enough adequate
exercise.

Thanks a lot for advises.I bought him Frozen Kong and I did stuffed
with Peanut butter. It last only 30 min. He squize Kong in a middle
and that's it. All Peanut Butter is on floor. What kind of toys do you
call DURABLE.
