Default Things Peanut Does...

....that I've never seen another dog do. (Though my experience is
admittedly limited--I've only lived with six dogs, total, in my life.)

1. When he is outside and lifts his leg to pee, sometimes he'll be
peeing along and suddenly poop as well, all while standing there
with his leg up. I call him "my efficient puppy" when he does that,
but it looks really odd.

2. "Carpet swimming"--sometimes he will stretch himself out full length
on the carpet and pull himself across it with is front legs only.
Then he'll stand up, shake himself off, and go on about whatever.
He seems to do this as kind of a way to stretch himself out more
thoroughly. Again, it looks really odd.

Does anybody else's dog do these things?

I've see dogs carpet swim (or grass swim), but I have never, ever
seen three-legged, simultaneous peeing *and* pooping. Now *that's*
some serious entertainment. Well done, Peanut!

Saber does the opposite of pooping while peeing, which is
that while he's pooping he pees on his left front leg. I
love him anyway.

The urge strikes!

It's a little self-gratifying as well. 'nuff said.

Gracie often times lifts her leg to pee, while Merlin squats to pee.
Therefore we think we own two gay dogs.

None of mine but I've seen many other dogs "carpet swim".
I love the name you chose for it.

Well, it just seems so descriptive of the process!

Not only descriptive but I can see it going somewhere.

Coming soon to a new Olympic Event near you!
Synchronized Canine Carpet Swimming

I see a great need.

My little chihuahua does the same thing and it looks so cute. Maybe he is
getting a tummy rub from this, he loves tummy rubs.
