oh wait. Turns out it is a pit bull that attacked this lady and killed a
dog. There's a picture of the attacking dog in the video.

Pit bulls are innocent! Duh.

Another attack blamed on pit bulls.

Why do people persecute them and their wonderful owners?

No one ever said that no pit bulls are ever involved in dog attacks.

I do recall me saying you are a **** Nut, and I still stand by it.

It's close enough, I think it could be used interchangeably.

No one ever said Pit Bulls are innocent, but I've never known one to go
about giving distorted information about anything.

Unfortunately, few people make any effort to learn the truth about Pit
Bulls; and elect to believe whatever they hear--regardless of the
source. Like any other dog, they are whatever their guardian makes of
them--or fails to make of them. Its just that simple.

Incidentally. for the informed, folks like you are somewhat annoying,
but mostly, you just make fools of yourselves. LOL

Doesn't say how many attacks per breed. Also, why aren't there a bunch of
videos of dogs of other breeds attacking people on you tube? That pit bull
attacking the animal control officer is one of the nastiest things I've ever
seen on youtube.

It says they counted dog bite numbers from the news. I thought the news

"ignorant" public's fear of pit bulls?

If you only look at the news reports that make headlines across the
country than you will only see pit bull attacks, with the occasional
severe attack from another breed. The pit bull attacks make headlines
even when no one was actually injured. If you look at every article
on dog attacks for a locality you will see that the other breeds are
involved just as much as pit bulls are.

In addition to that, the site is obviously written by a pit bull lover. What
sort of stats can you expect from someone who creates a site to help clean
up the pit bull's image?

Did you ever think that just maybe the pit bull image was unjustly
dirtied to begin with?

Getting stats about pit bulls from that site would be like getting stats
about drunk driving from a bunch of drunks.

Getting stats from a site trying to educate the public on the true
nature of the dog attack problem is nowhere near the same thing as
getting drunk driving stats from drunks. Learn how to appropriately
use an analogy.

I can see where some of the reports are false, but not all or even most. It
also doesn't make any sense that you trust a site that is trying to clean
the pit bull's image. Their stated purpose puts them in conflict with
finding the truth. They don't make any effort to give their findings
credence. Exposing the occasional false report or mistake just means there
are occasional errors. Then we have graphic footage of pit bull behavior
that is terrifying. Why should the general public give pit bulls a chance to
do more damage when there's so much testimony and video of their dangers?

Then there's the dog's origins. It was bred as an opening act to bullfights.
They'd let a pack of dogs at a bull for the entertainment of a crowd. The
dogs were bred for agression and power. That's not what your ideal family
pet is bred for. Dog's have a mind of their own. Pit bulls have lethal
weaponry on them at all times. Your average human is defenseless.
