So Oregon Scientific has come out with a cheapie helmet cam
and I picked one up so that I'll be able to record our
various outings as training gets underway and eventually
into the winter and snow. I've uploaded some sample video
he http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndWZhyiNoAc, with
Slick, Eclipse, Crow, and Cinder checking out the new toy.
It doesn't have a viewfinder and the color is oversaturated
and occasionally wonky, but that works out pretty well for
blue-eyed dogs. It comes with a couple of different kind of
headstraps, plus a handlebar mount. It's not a great camera
but I think it's good enough and that the price is totally
reasonable.

It occurred to me that it would be pretty great if some
agility person (what do you all call yourselves, anyway?)
were to use one to record runs and give an agility-person's-
eye-view of running a course.

Oh wow! It's LOMOlicious!

Cheeep is beautiful (um, sometimes).

And boy are those some pretty dogs. Seriously,
seriously pretty.

They know it and can be kind of obnoxious about it. Crow is
about 1/4 of the way into her fall coat blow, which I like
to point out to her when she starts talking about giving up
mushing and taking up a modeling career. "And where do you
think Heidi Klum would be if *her* hair fell out twice a
year?"

There was a pretty cool one on youtube which was pulled because
of some sort of copyright conflict. The camera was mounted on a

Did it make you feel like puking? I live for Youtube-
induced motion sickness!

But it did. I intend to use the French pronunciation with
it. And the French article. Oh, heck - the whole French
shebang: "Matt est un agilitier bruyant."
