Cataracts?
Today, both dogs had their annual physical. Pan got a mostly clean bill of health; left hip is a little worse than the right, but we knew that. Khan's Blood Pressure was up from last time (160 now, was 145 last time, about 4 months ago). In his paws however, I would've likey bitten someone today. He's sporting a Poodle cut on his leg 'cause they couldn't get him to occlude otherwise, got poked multiple times before they could draw blood, got poked in the eyeballs for glaucoma test, etc. And all on an empty stomach too. Anyway, the vet said that his left eye was looking a little strange, that the lens shows thickening, but in a stellate pattern. No mineralization. She thinks that it might be early signs of cataract. Anyone seen anything like this before? We'll be back in three months to see if there are changes. Suja |
