Default Boston sore throat?

I have a spayed 5 yo Boston female. Earlier this season she began
"reverse sneezing" excessively. I took her to the vet, he said she
had some signs of sore throat. He gave her a course of antibiotics,
which I gave her on schedule and completely. She perked up, and the
smelly breath went away...
Until recently, the honking has started again, she refuses food (but
she's never been very food motivated) and seems to be a bit under
par..and the smelly breath has returned.
This is the south, and this year the sugar cane has been a terrible
allergen for even me.
Yes, I'm taking her back to the vet, but I like to arm myself with as
much knowledge as possible. The short snout breeds have issues with
snoring, panting, heat, etc, and I'm guessing that some nasal/throat
things go with that.

Any insight will be appreciated, and I repeat, Yes, I'm taking her
back to the vet..so don't flog me about "what did the vet say?"
I'm going to post this on dog health also.
Happy Thanksgiving all!

Thanks.
Perry
