Default Does Your Dog Have a Pretty Smile

The doggy dental supplies you find online should cover everything you
will need. Dogs have toothbrushes and tooth paste. Please buy a
toothbrush made for a dog.
You may also be able to find wipes that are designed for dogs who have
a real aversion to having their teeth brushed. These wipes are dental
supplies that are actually pads that will help remove food residue and
plaque. They also control bad breath and kill germs.
If you begin brushing your dog's teeth as a puppy you may have an
easier time with the brushing process. Some dogs resist if they are
older and have never had their teeth brushed.
Pet owners should brush their dog's teeth at least twice a week. If
your dog has dental problems you may need to brush more often. check
your dog for gum disease often. Look for teeth that are clean and do
not have brown or yellow spots. Also take a look at your dog's gums.
The gums should hug the teeth and be a healthy pink color.
When you notice signs of gum disease or problems with your dog's teeth
you should make an appointment with your vet. Your vet will be able to
give your dog a thorough teeth cleaning. Sometimes the situation is
more serious and your dog may need an antibiotic to take care of a
possible gum infection before your vet can begin the teeth cleaning.
There are times when blood work will need to be done or teeth may need
to pulled....
