Isospora Belli
Sorry about that,my copy and paste must have had a free day.Has anyone here
ever heard of this isopora Belli? i have some freinds who have 3 young king charles spaniels,one of them has apparently been diagnosed with this.However they are not sure if the vet is any good,and would like to hear anything they could from others with experience of this.How is it diagnosed,treated,symtoms,and prognosis? is it contageous to humans? they have 2 young children. Can it be treated simply? diet etc etc.any help would be gretly appreciated. thank you all keith |

I've never heard of any vet giving the specific name of an organism that is basically coccidia. http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_coccidia.html Make sure to give this dog powdered probiotics during the time they're taking meds and for a month after. The dog who was diagnosed probably has an immature immune system. And if you'd Googled Isopora belli, the answer was right there. buglady take out the dog before replying |
