I'm fairly sure Hazel is not a Canaan. She doesn't really look like a
crossbreed as much as your typical mix of everything including the
kitchen sink. But I think the puppies are kind of interesting in
color pattern given the dad would be most likely patterned like a
smooth border collie. Dad is almost certainly black and white, but
sometimes McNabs are red and white.

Such a typical mix often breeds true. Hazel looks like a good
ol' GSD mix.

Like the rescue dog I know which is "Dingo X Malinois", what's
the likelihood that a Canaan would meet up with a McNab?

I can't see the rest of her. But her head and color remind
of a GSD mixed with something else... perhaps Akita. ???
