Default Is Your Dog A Party Animal?

There are a whole host of great reasons to throw a dog party. All
children love a good party...and since your pooch is your furchild,
he's bound to have a wonderful time.
If you've ever been to a 5 year old's birthday party, you've some idea
of what a dog party involves

Lots of noise
Lots of excitement
Party games
Party food
Lots of gifts
CAKE!

Now you know what you're getting yourself into, we'll take a look at
the why, where, who and how's of throwing a dog party that's a
'howling success'!
Why
Pick one of these, or be creative...

Birthday Party
Costume/Theme Party
Halloween Party
Christmas Party
Valentine's Party
Puppy Class Graduation Party

Where
Of course you can hold your pup's party in your living room (if you
don't have Persian rugs and antique furniture), or in your back yard,
if it's safely fenced.
There are other options too though. How about the local park or a dog
safe beach? Some dog obedience schools or doggy-day-cares make rooms
in their facility available for just such events....
