It was on last night at 11pm and it will be on tonight at 8pm. The
segment was about the dog sledding relay run to Nome in 1925. They made
reference to the book "The Cruelest Miles". The segment also had 2
modern day dog sledders on as commetators. The story was about the
neccesity of getting serum to Nome, via dog sled because there was an
outbreak of diptheria. There was no other way to get through but by dog
sled. Togo and Balto were the stars, actually all of the dogs were the
stars. On top of all of the other troubles, the 85 degree below temps,
the ice breaking up...They had to keep the serum protected from the
