Default sebaceous cysts?

Greetings:

Does anyone have experience with sebaceous cysts in dogs? Queenie had a
lump and the vet's office diagnosed it over the phone as probably being a
sebaceous cyst -- I have an appointment tomorrow so they can look at it.
Last night it started draining, which I kind of "helped along" -- I
called the vet again and they said that sounds normal, but I'm still
taking her in tomorrow.

In the meantime I'm just wondering if anyone here has
experience/advice/reassurance?

Music has one. When he donates blood I have the vet aspirate it.
Last time he couldn't get anything out of it. Vet will remove it if
it becomes a problem, but it doesn't bother Music and only bothers me
a little [insert emoticon here]. They're nothing to worry about.

Thanks Sally. I didn't know they would recur in the same spot after
draining. This one is near her spine, although it doesn't seem to slow
her down any. She didn't like the draining, though, and has been fussing
with it.

I appreciate the reassurance!

If it's really bothering her, you could always have it removed.
Music's is on the back of his neck, so I doubt he really knows it's
there.

And I hit "send" too quickly - draining the cyst only gets rid of any
liquid in it. The cyst itself is still there.

Blech. I thought draining it would make it go away, like a big zit. I'll
see what the vet says vis-a-vis removal. My understanding thus far is
that she'd need general anesthesia, and of course I don't want to do that
unless absolutely necessary.
