I'm only slightly familiar with this, but will open the discussion. I
have seen the line tangle when laid in a mowed path where there was
brush, as well as grass and softer weeds. I have seen it come off one
of the guide post thingies once or twice. And the battery could
conceivably run down... We lure course our Border Terriers for fun at
some of our breed events.... They have a blast; even more fun than
terrier racing....
